Landliebe Die Streichzarte

Landliebe is one of Germany's most recognized and traditional dairy brands, originally established in the 1970s. The 'Die Streichzarte' product is a spreadable blend of butter and rapeseed oil, known for its soft consistency even when refrigerated. While the brand has long been a staple of German households, its ownership has undergone significant changes in recent years. Historically owned by Royal FrieslandCampina, the Landliebe brand, along with its German production sites and several other dairy brands, was acquired by the Müller Group (Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller) in 2023. This acquisition solidified Müller's position as a dominant force in the European dairy market, bringing the iconic Landliebe label under their Luxembourg-headquartered holding. Production continues primarily at specialized dairy facilities in Germany to maintain its regional heritage.
