Synoptik Eyewear and Eye Care

Synoptik is a prominent optical retail chain with deep roots in Denmark, where it was founded in 1931 by Robert Delfer. The brand has grown to become one of the most recognized eyewear providers in Northern Europe, particularly in Denmark and Sweden.

Starting from 2021, Synoptik became part of the EssilorLuxottica group following the acquisition of GrandVision. EssilorLuxottica is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses. While the stores provide local eye exams and services, the actual eyewear products—including frames and lenses—are manufactured in various facilities worldwide, primarily in Italy, China, and France, under the parent company's extensive supply chain.
