OLW (Old London Wasa) is one of Sweden's most iconic snack brands, particularly famous for its 'fredagsmys' marketing concept. The brand was founded in 1967 in Filipstad, Sweden, as a joint venture between the Swedish company Wasabröd and the American company Borden Foods. Today, it remains a dominant force in the Nordic snack market.

While the brand has deep Swedish roots, it is currently part of a much larger international conglomerate. Since 2005, OLW has been owned by Orkla, a Norwegian industrial conglomerate that is the leading supplier of branded consumer goods in the Nordics. The peanuts and other snacks are often produced at the company's large-scale facility in Filipstad, though sourcing and packaging may vary across European supply chains.
