Lundhags is an iconic Swedish brand founded in 1932 by shoemaker Jonas Lundhag in Jämtland. The company is world-renowned for its 'shell principle' boots, which are designed to withstand the harsh conditions of the Scandinavian wilderness. Historically, all boots were made in Järpen, Sweden; while a significant portion of footwear production continues in Europe (Estonia and Portugal), many apparel items are now manufactured in Asia.
In early 2018, Lundhags was acquired by the Norwegian group Brav AS. This acquisition brought the brand under the same umbrella as other major outdoor names like Swix and Toko. Despite the change in ownership, Lundhags maintains its headquarters in Järpen and remains committed to its heritage of sustainable, repairable, and durable outdoor equipment designed for the long haul.
