Nestlé Shredded Wheat is a classic breakfast cereal originally invented in the United States by Henry Perky in the late 19th century. While the product was initially manufactured by the Natural Food Company (later Nabisco), the brand rights outside of North America were eventually acquired by Cereal Partners Worldwide (CPW).

Cereal Partners Worldwide is a major joint venture between the Swiss multinational Nestlé and the American company General Mills, established in 1991. Because of this partnership, the product is marketed under the Nestlé brand in many international markets, including Spain and the UK. Production occurs in various facilities worldwide according to regional distribution, with substantial manufacturing presences in the UK (specifically Staverton) and other European hubs. Currently, the brand remains under the stewardship of the Nestlé-General Mills joint venture.
