While the brand has its roots in Sweden, most of its liquid products, including sauces and salsas, are manufactured at their large-scale production facility in Saue, Estonia. Today, the brand is owned by Paulig Group, a Finnish family-owned food and beverage company. Paulig acquired Santa Maria in 2010 to strengthen its position in the international food market, and they continue to manage the brand's global distribution and sustainable production practices.
