Following this sale, the original corporate entity announced a pivot to providing artificial intelligence computing infrastructure, rebranding itself as NewBird AI.

Manufacturing for Allbirds products is distributed globally to optimize for material sourcing and specialized assembly. Footwear is primarily hand-assembled in Vietnam and South Korea, while some production, particularly knitting, occurs in China. The brand's apparel line is manufactured in various locations including Peru, Indonesia, and Vietnam, with its specialized sock line produced in North Carolina, USA.
