Alpro is a pioneering European brand in plant-based food and beverages, founded in 1980 in Wevelgem, Belgium. The Mild & Creamy Vanilla product is a fermented soya-based alternative to yogurt, popular for its smooth texture and plant-based ingredients. Today, Alpro is part of Danone, a French multinational food-products corporation. Danone acquired Alpro as part of its acquisition of WhiteWave Foods in 2017.
