Tim Hortons is an iconic Canadian brand founded in 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario, by hockey legend Tim Horton and Jim Charade. Originally established as a single doughnut shop, it grew into Canada's largest quick-service restaurant chain, becoming a cultural staple known for its signature coffee, donuts, and Timbits.

Over the years, the brand has undergone several significant ownership changes. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, it was merged with the American burger chain Wendy's before being spun off as an independent public company in 2006. In 2014, a major shift occurred when Tim Hortons merged with Burger King to form Restaurant Brands International (RBI), an American-Canadian multinational corporation.

Today, while the brand maintains deep operational roots and its primary manufacturing hub for coffee beans in Ancaster, Ontario, it is part of one of the largest fast-food conglomerates in the world. The manufacturing of its retail products, such as bagged coffee and K-Cup pods, occurs in various facilities across North America to meet international demand.
