In 2020, the company underwent a significant ownership transition when the German investment firm Afinum Management GmbH acquired a stake to facilitate growth and long-term succession. Despite this investment, the original founders remain involved, and the company continues to operate as an independent entity focused on secure communications for both individual and corporate clients.
