Launched as a specialized brand, it is the result of a long-term cultivation project aimed at creating a domestic apple that meets specific consumer taste profiles in Germany while ensuring a reliable local supply chain.

The product is grown in major German fruit-growing regions, such as Lake Constance and the Altes Land, specifically to support regional agriculture and minimize transportation routes. As an ALDI private label brand, the ownership lies with the ALDI North and ALDI South groups, two of the largest retail organizations globally, headquartered in Germany.
