Chuckit! Ultra Ball

Chuckit! is an iconic name in the pet supplies industry, best known for its high-durability fetch toys and ball launchers. The brand was originally created by the company Canine Hardware, which revolutionized pet play by designing the first launcher that allowed owners to throw balls much further while avoiding the mess of picking up a slobbery ball by hand. Today, Chuckit! is owned by Petmate (officially known as Doskocil Manufacturing Company, Inc.), a major American pet products manufacturer based in Texas. Petmate itself was acquired by the private equity firm Platinum Equity in 2021, and then subsequently merged with Cosmic Pet later that year to form a leading global pet platform. While the engineering and design originate from the United States, production is primarily outsourced to manufacturing hubs in Asia, including Vietnam and China, to meet international demand. In Australia, these products are widely distributed through major pet stores and online retailers as premium durable dog toys.
