Supro Jet Airliner Bass

The Supro Jet Airliner Bass is a modern tribute to the vintage Valco-made instruments of the 1960s. Characterized by its unique 'Airliner' body shape, which was originally crafted from Res-O-Glass (fiberglass), the contemporary reissue uses a mahogany body with a chambered design to replicate the resonance and weight of the historical models.

Supro as a brand has a rich history dating back to the 1930s in Chicago, where it was founded by the Valco manufacturing company. After being dormant for several decades, the brand was revived in 2013 and eventually acquired by Bond Audio. While the brand carries an iconic American heritage, the manufacturing of modern Supro instruments is primarily carried out in specialized facilities in Indonesia to balance quality craftsmanship with commercial accessibility.
