Twinings teas are sourced from estates around the world, including India, China, and Africa, and the tea is processed and packaged in several strategic locations. In 2011, the company closed its primary factory in North Shields, UK, moving much of its large-scale production to Poland and China, though some specialist operations remain in Andover, England.
