Huesitos is one of Spain's most iconic snack brands, known for its layered chocolate-wafer bars. The brand was originally created by Chocolates Hueso in Ateca, Zaragoza, and gained nationwide popularity throughout the 20th century.
In 2013, after being owned for a period by the multinational Mondelez (formerly Kraft Foods), the company and the production facility in Ateca were acquired by Chocolates Valor. This move brought the brand back under Spanish ownership, ensuring that the manufacturing remains within the country at its historic production site. Today, Valor continues to produce Huesitos as a staple of Spanish confectionery, maintaining the original recipe and local production traditions.
