ParaSinus is a well-established pharmaceutical product widely used in Romania for the relief of cold and flu symptoms. It was originally developed as part of the respiratory portfolio of SmithKline Beecham, which later merged to form GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). The product typically contains a combination of paracetamol, chlorphenamine maleate, and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride.
Following a major corporate restructuring in 2022, GSK spun off its consumer healthcare division into an independent company called Haleon. Consequently, ParaSinus is now owned and managed by Haleon, a global leader in consumer health. The manufacturing of ParaSinus frequently takes place in European facilities, notably in Spain (Alcalá de Henares) or Ireland, though distribution is managed through local subsidiaries to ensure availability across the Romanian market.
