BKI Extra ground coffee

BKI Extra is a classic ground coffee brand well-known in Denmark. The brand originated in 1960 under the name Brasil Kaffe Import, founded by Svend Mathiesen in Aarhus. It remains a family-owned Danish enterprise and is currently one of the largest coffee producers in the country.

The coffee is primarily manufactured and roasted at their facility in Højbjerg, near Aarhus, Denmark. The company remains independent and is still owned by the Mathiesen family through BKI Foods A/S, ensuring its status as a homegrown Danish coffee powerhouse.
