Karvan Cévitam is a classic Dutch brand founded in 1948 by the company Rinneman in Amsterdam. The name is derived from 'Caravan' and 'Cévitam' (referring to Vitamin C). It became a household staple in the Netherlands for its fruit concentrates.
Today, the brand is manufactured primarily in the Netherlands and is owned by the American multinational Kraft Heinz. While the brand remains deeply rooted in Dutch food culture, its corporate ownership is based in the United States following the merger of Kraft Foods Group and H.J. Heinz Company in 2015.
