The Bialetti Moka Induction is a modern evolution of the iconic Italian stovetop espresso maker, specifically designed to function on induction hobs. While the classic aluminum Moka Express is synonymous with 'Made in Italy,' the Moka Induction model is a hybrid product. It typically features an aluminum upper chamber and a stainless steel boiler base to enable magnetic conduction.

Historically, Bialetti products were manufactured exclusively in Italy. However, as the company expanded and faced financial pressures, production was diversified. Currently, manufacturing takes place in multiple locations, including Italy, Romania, and Turkey. Specific induction-compatible components and certain models are frequently produced in Bialetti's Eastern European facilities (Romania) or outsourced to specialized manufacturers in China.

In early 2025, the brand underwent a significant ownership change. Previously controlled by the Ranzoni family through Bialetti Industrie S.p.A., a majority stake (approximately 79%) was acquired by NUO Capital, a Luxembourg-based investment firm backed by Hong Kong's World-Wide Investment Company and Italy's Exor (the Agnelli family holding company). This acquisition was aimed at stabilizing the company's debt and expanding the 'Made in Italy' heritage into Asian markets.
