Hilltop Clear Honey

Hilltop Honey started as a small venture in 2011 when founder Scott Davies began beekeeping in his parents' back garden in Newtown, Wales. What began as a local operation quickly grew into a major brand that supplies retailers across the United Kingdom.

While the brand is rooted in Welsh heritage and maintains a production facility in Newtown, Wales, for bottling and distribution, the clear honey product typically consists of a blend of honeys sourced from multiple countries (often both EU and Non-EU) to ensure consistent taste and supply throughout the year.

In 2024, Hilltop Honey was acquired by the investment firm Perwyn, which became the majority stakeholder. Despite this change in corporate ownership, the brand continues to operate from its base in Powys, Wales, focusing on sustainable sourcing and expanding its presence in the natural sweetener market.
