KiMs is an iconic Danish snack brand that has been a staple in the local market for decades. Originally founded in 1961 by Kim Hamann under the Odense Marcipan factory, the brand quickly became synonymous with high-quality chips and nuts in Denmark.

While the brand was born in Denmark, it is currently owned by the Norwegian conglomerate Orkla ASA, which acquired it as part of its expansion into the Nordic snack sector. Today, KiMs operates as part of Orkla Confectionery & Snacks Danmark, with a large production facility located in Søndersø on the island of Funen. This local manufacturing ensures that the classic Danish taste is preserved while benefiting from the logistical and financial backing of one of the largest consumer goods companies in the Nordic region.
