JBL Tuner

JBL is a globally recognized American audio electronics brand with a heritage dating back to 1946. Known for its high-performance loudspeakers and professional audio equipment, JBL transitioned its focus toward consumer portable audio in the 21st century.

The JBL Tuner series, which combines Bluetooth connectivity with traditional radio capabilities, is primarily designed in the United States but manufactured in China to leverage large-scale electronics production hubs. JBL was originally founded by James Bullough Lansing, but it is currently under the umbrella of Harman International Industries.

Since 2017, Harman International has been a wholly-owned subsidiary of the South Korean technology giant Samsung Electronics. This ownership provides JBL with extensive research and development resources, ensuring its position as a market leader in the portable audio segment world-wide.
