EMOS is a prominent Central European brand specializing in lighting and small electrical products. Founded in the Czech Republic in 1991, the brand grew from a local distributor into a regional leader in the consumer electronics and electrical installation sector.

In 2022, the brand reached a significant milestone when it was acquired by Legrand, a French multinational group that is a global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures. This acquisition allowed EMOS to integrate into a global network while maintaining its brand identity in the European market. Most of their lighting products, including these LED bulbs, are manufactured in China to leverage large-scale production facilities before being distributed throughout Europe.
