Masox bouillon cubes

Masox is a highly recognized brand of bouillon cubes and seasoning products in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Established in 1957 in the town of Byšice, it has become a staple in Central European kitchens for its distinct meat flavor and traditional recipe. The product packaging explicitly mentions that it has been produced in Byšice since its inception.

Originally created by the Czechoslovak state enterprise Vitana, the brand has undergone several ownership changes following the privatization era. Since 2013, the brand has been under the umbrella of the Orkla Group, a leading Norwegian industrial conglomerate. Specifically, it is managed by Orkla Foods Česko a Slovensko, which was formed through the merger of Vitana and Hamé. The ultimate ownership lies with Orkla ASA, headquartered in Oslo, Norway, which continues to maintain the production facility in the Czech Republic.
