Kostelecké uzeniny is one of the most prominent and historic meat processing brands in the Czech Republic. Founded in 1917 in the town of Kostelec, the brand has built a legacy spanning over a century, specializing in traditional Central European deli meats, sausages, and premium meat cuts. The 'Poctivé párky vídeňské' (Honest Viennese Frankfurters) shown in the image are a flagship product, emphasizing a high meat content (90%) and traditional production methods that date back to the company's early years.
The brand underwent significant changes during the post-communist era, eventually becoming a centerpiece of the Agrofert holding company. Despite its growth into a massive industrial producer, the brand maintains its identity as a local heritage company, with its primary manufacturing facilities still located in its founding region. Today, it remains a dominant force in the Czech food market, supplying large retail chains throughout the country.
