Belhaven Scottish Ale

Belhaven Scottish Ale is a classic export-style ale brewed by Belhaven Brewery. Founded in 1719, Belhaven is Scotland's oldest working brewery, located in Dunbar, East Lothian. The brand is deeply rooted in Scottish brewing tradition, utilizing local malted barley and soft water from the brewery's own well to create its signature rich and nutty flavor profile.

While the brand holds centuries of Scottish heritage, its ownership has transitioned into the global market. In 2005, the brewery was acquired by the English pub and brewing company Greene King. Subsequently, in 2019, Greene King was acquired by CK Asset Holdings, a multinational conglomerate based in Hong Kong. Despite these corporate changes, production remains centered at the historic Dunbar site to maintain the authenticity of the 'Scottish Ale' designation.
