Beyblade is a globally recognized line of spinning-top toys that originated in Japan at the turn of the millennium. The brand was developed by Takara Co., Ltd. and eventually became a multi-generational phenomenon through various iterations like the original series, Metal Fusion, Beyblade Burst, and Beyblade X. The toys are designed for competitive play in specialized arenas called Beystadiums.

The manufacturing of Beyblades is primarily concentrated in Southeast Asia, with a significant portion of the production occurring in Vietnam and China to facilitate global distribution. While the engineering and design are led by the Japanese parent company, the physical manufacturing is outsourced to various high-precision plastic and metal molding facilities across Asia.

Ownership of the brand is split by region. Takara Tomy maintains full control of the brand in Japan and most Asian markets, while Hasbro manages the licensing, manufacturing, and distribution for Western markets including North America and Europe. Both companies work in tandem to launch new seasons of the accompanying anime series and toy lines simultaneously.
