Svoge Milk Chocolate

Svoge is a beloved Bulgarian chocolate brand with a history dating back to the early 20th century. Named after the town of Svoge where its production facility is located, the brand has become a household name in Bulgaria, known for its iconic milk chocolate tablets. The factory in Svoge was originally established in 1924 and has evolved significantly over the decades to become one of the most modern chocolate manufacturing sites in Eastern Europe.

In the early 1990s, the brand was acquired by the multinational food company Kraft Foods during the privatization period in Bulgaria. Today, through various corporate restructurings, the brand is owned by Mondelēz International. Despite its massive global ownership, Svoge remains a deeply local brand, maintaining its traditional recipes and production at the original Svoge factory, which serves both the domestic Bulgarian market and export needs throughout the region.
