Tat Stark Sås (Aci Biber Sosu) is a popular Turkish hot sauce produced by Tat Gıda, one of Turkey's leading food companies. Originally established in 1967 by Vehbi Koç under the Koç Holding conglomerate in Bursa, the brand built a global reputation for tomato-based products, ketchups, and sauces.
In early 2024, a significant ownership shift occurred when Koç Holding sold its majority stake in Tat Gıda to Memişoğlu Tarım Ürünleri, a major Turkish agricultural and pulses company known for the 'Tat Bakliyat' brand. As of 2026, Tat Gıda operates under the umbrella of Memişoğlu Tarım, continuing to leverage its large-scale production facilities in Bursa (Mustafakemalpaşa and Karacabey) and Izmir (Torbalı). The sauce is primarily manufactured in Turkey and exported to numerous international markets, including Sweden, where it is labeled with Swedish branding like 'Stark Sås'.
