Tenson is a classic Swedish outdoor brand known for its technical outdoor, ski, and lifestyle apparel. Founded in 1951 in Varberg, Sweden, by Paul Rydholm, the brand gained international fame for its functional designs and iconic products like the Himalaya jacket.

Over the decades, Tenson has evolved through various ownership structures. In 2023, the brand was acquired by the Dutch company Nedvest through its subsidiary brand management firm, following a restructuring period. Today, while it maintains its Nordic design heritage, manufacturing is primarily outsourced to specialized production facilities in Asia and Europe to ensure technical performance and global reach.
