Tefal Toaster

Tefal is a renowned household appliance brand known globally for its innovation in non-stick cookware and small kitchen appliances. The brand was founded in 1956 in France by Marc Grégoire, who revolutionized the culinary world by applying Teflon to aluminum pans. The name Tefal itself is a portmanteau of Teflon and Aluminum.

While the brand originated in France and continues to manufacture some of its premium product lines there, most of its electrical kitchen appliances, including various toaster models, are manufactured in China to leverage global supply chains. Since 1968, Tefal has been a flagship brand of the Groupe SEB, a large French industrial consortium that leads the world in small domestic equipment.

Today, Tefal remains headquartered in France under the ultimate ownership of Groupe SEB. It operates as a global brand, distributed by various local subsidiaries depending on the region, maintaining its identity as a pioneer in kitchen convenience and durable home goods.
