Grolsch Citroen Radler is a refreshing blend of non-alcoholic or low-alcoholic beer and lemon juice, part of the wider product portfolio of the historic Grolsch brewery. The brand is deeply rooted in Dutch brewing tradition, originally founded in Groenlo in 1615 by Willem Neerfeldt. Known for its iconic swing-top bottles, Grolsch has evolved from a local brewery into a global brand.
While the brand maintains its historical heritage and main brewery operations in Enschede, Netherlands, its ownership has shifted significantly over the last two decades. After being acquired by SABMiller in 2008, and later briefly passing through Anheuser-Busch InBev, the Grolsch brand was sold to the Asahi Group Holdings of Japan in 2016. Asahi continues to manage Grolsch as a premium brand within its international portfolio, leveraging its authentic Dutch origins while expanding its market reach globally.
