Desigual is a globally recognized fashion brand founded in 1984 by Thomas Meyer in Ibiza, Spain. Currently headquartered in Barcelona, the brand is famous for its vibrant patchwork designs, intense prints, and optimistic spirit. While the brand carries the creative essence of Spain, its manufacturing is distributed internationally, primarily in Asia (China, India, Vietnam) and North Africa (Morocco), to manage large-scale production demands.

The company remains largely under the control of its founder, Thomas Meyer. Despite previously having a partnership with the investment firm Eurazeo, Meyer repurchased the stake in 2018 to regain full ownership. Desigual operates through a mix of its own retail stores, multi-brand boutiques, and a strong digital presence, maintaining a unique position in the fashion industry through its 'not the same' philosophy.
