Buitoni Crostino Dorato is a iconic Italian toasted bread product originally launched by the Buitoni company. Buitoni was founded in Sansepolcro, Italy, in 1827 and became world-famous for its pasta and bakery items. In 1988, the brand was acquired by the Swiss multinational Nestlé.
Starting from 2022, Nestlé licensed the production of Buitoni dry bakery products, including these Crostini, to the Italian company Newlat Food S.p.A. The product is manufactured in Italy, maintaining its traditional Mediterranean roots while being part of a global portfolio managed by Nestlé for the brand name and Newlat for regional production and distribution.
