FontanaArte is a prestigious Italian high-end lighting and furniture company with a history dating back to 1932. Founded by architect Gio Ponti and Luigi Fontana, the brand became a benchmark for Italian design, famous for its artistic use of glass and metal.

Historically, the brand was a part of various groups, including the conglomerate led by investor groups and, notably, Nice S.p.A., which acquired it in 2010. By 2016, the brand was acquired by the Italian investment holding ItalianCreationGroup (ICG), which focuses on luxury Italian lifestyle and industrial brands. The products are predominantly manufactured in Italy to maintain the high craftsmanship standards associated with the 'Made in Italy' label.
