The brand was officially launched in 2010 by Ed and Kate O'Donnell, leveraging their family's long-standing agricultural history to produce hand-cooked potato crisps.

Today, O'Donnells is part of the Largo Foods portfolio (now under the KP Snacks umbrella after acquisition by Intersnack).
