Sanex is a well-established brand in the personal care industry, originally launched in Spain in 1984 by the company Cruz Verde. The brand was developed with a focus on dermatological health, positioning itself as a leader in skin-friendly products including deodorants, shower gels, and lotions.
Over the years, the brand transitioned through several owners. It was acquired by the Dutch company Sara Lee Corporation before being sold to Unilever in 2011. However, due to European Union antitrust regulations, Unilever was required to divest the Sanex brand in Europe, leading to its acquisition by the American multinational Colgate-Palmolive.
Today, Sanex products are manufactured in various locations across Europe and other regions to serve a global market. The brand's ultimate owner, Colgate-Palmolive, is headquartered in the United States and continues to oversee the brand's commitment to skin health and scientific innovation.
