Nilens Jord is a prominent Danish beauty brand founded in 1982 by Lars Jacobsson in Farum, Denmark. It established its reputation as a pioneer in the 'Clean Beauty' movement long before it became a global trend, notably becoming the first Danish brand to remove perfume from all its products in the early 1990s. The brand is widely recognized for its allergy-friendly and high-performing formulas, often carrying international certifications such as the AllergyCertified label.

Originally operated under the company Kosmolet A/S by its founders Lars and Berit Jacobsson, the brand underwent a significant transition in 2019 when it was acquired by Matas A/S, Denmark's largest health and beauty retailer. Today, Nilens Jord is managed as part of the Matas Group's specialized Nordic beauty division, Grænn. The brand continues to focus on its Danish heritage, with most of its development and manufacturing centered in Denmark and other European locations to maintain high quality and safety standards.
