JBL is a legendary American audio brand founded in 1946 by James Bullough Lansing. Known for its innovation in loudspeaker technology, the brand played a pivotal role in the development of cinema sound and concert audio equipment. The headphones shown in the image belong to the Quantum gaming lineup, which features distinctive RGB lighting and spatial audio technology for professional and hobbyist gamers.

While the brand has deep American roots, its ownership has transitioned through major corporate acquisitions. In 1969, JBL was acquired by Sidney Harman, becoming a cornerstone of Harman International Industries. In 2017, the brand profile reached new heights when Harman International, and consequently JBL, became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics. Today, while design and engineering often occur in the United States and global design centers, manufacturing is primarily centralized in China to serve the global electronics market.
