Smint is a well-known brand of breath fresheners that originated in Spain. It was launched in 1994 by the Chupa Chups company, originally targeting a more adult market with its sugar-free, minty triangular pastilles. The brand became famous for its unique dispenser designs and the distinctive triangular shape of the mints.
Today, Smint is owned by the global confectionery giant Perfetti Van Melle, following their acquisition of Chupa Chups in 2006. Manufacturing is largely centered in Spain, specifically at the Sant Esteve Sesrovires facility near Barcelona, which supplies markets across Europe and beyond. As a flagship brand under Perfetti Van Melle, Smint continues to innovate with various flavors and packaging formats like the tins and large bottles shown here.
