Omega x Swatch Moonswatch - Mission to Mercury

The MoonSwatch is a historic collaboration between two iconic Swiss watchmakers: Omega and Swatch. This specific model, the Mission to Mercury, is part of a series that pays homage to the legendary Omega Speedmaster Professional (the first watch on the moon) while utilizing Swatch's innovative Bioceramic material.

All authentic MoonSwatch pieces are manufactured in Switzerland, adhering to the strict standards required for the 'Swiss Made' designation. This ensures that the quartz movement and final assembly take place within the country's renowned watchmaking clusters.

Both the Omega and Swatch brands are currently owned by the Swatch Group. While Omega was originally founded by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848, it became part of what we now know as the Swatch Group during the consolidations of the 1980s. Swatch was launched in 1983 by Nicolas Hayek to revitalize the Swiss watch industry against the rise of quartz watches from Asia. Today, the Swatch Group remains the world's largest watch manufacturer and is headquartered in Biel, Switzerland.
