Avery Zweckform is a prominent label manufacturer rooted in Germany. The brand's history began in 1946 when Hermann Zweck founded Zweckform in Holzkirchen, Bavaria. Following a significant merger in 1998 with Avery Dennison, the brand became Avery Zweckform.

The company is widely recognized for its high-quality adhesive products, ranging from address labels to specialized industrial signage. To this day, the majority of its European manufacturing output remains based in Germany, ensuring high production standards.

Starting in 2013, CCL Industries Inc. acquired the office and consumer products division associated with the Avery brand. Consequently, Avery Zweckform operates as a subsidiary of CCL Industries, a global leader in specialty label and packaging solutions headquartered in Canada.
