Stanley is an iconic American brand founded in 1913 by William Stanley Jr., who revolutionized the way hot drinks were consumed by fusing vacuum insulation with the strength of steel in one portable bottle. Originally designed for rugged outdoor use and workers, the brand has seen a massive resurgence in recent years as a lifestyle and fashion accessory.
While the brand's heritage is deeply rooted in the United States, its manufacturing processes have transitioned over the decades. Currently, the majority of Stanley products, including their vacuum-insulated tumblers and pints, are manufactured in China to meet global demand. Despite the change in production location, the brand maintains strict quality control measures to uphold its reputation for durability.
Today, the Stanley brand is owned by PMI Worldwide (Pacific Market International). In 2022, PMI Worldwide was acquired by HAVI Group, a global supply chain and marketing company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. This acquisition has helped Stanley expand its distribution and brand presence across the globe, including a strong market foothold in Brazil.
