Milka is an iconic chocolate brand originally founded in Switzerland in 1901 by Philippe Suchard. Known globally for its lilac packaging and its Alpine cow mascot, the brand specialized in milk chocolate produced with Alpine milk.

Today, Milka is no longer a Swiss-owned brand. It is owned by Mondelez International, an American multi-national conglomerate. While the brand has Swiss roots, its products are manufactured in various European countries, including major facilities in Lörrach, Germany, as well as plants in Austria, Poland, and Slovakia. These pralines are part of their gift-focused range marketed across the European Union.
