Beauvais tomato ketchup and food products

Beauvais is one of Denmark's most iconic food brands, particularly famous since the 20th century for its tomato ketchup and pickled vegetables. The brand's history dates back to 1847 when it was founded by Jean Desiré Beauvais. While it began as a small enterprise, it grew into a household name, synonymous with quality household staples across the Nordic region.

Over the decades, Beauvais has modernized its production while maintaining its traditional recipes. Although deeply rooted in Danish food culture, the brand is currently owned by the Norwegian Orkla Group. Most production for the Danish market still occurs within Denmark, specifically at plants like the one in Svinninge, though some materials and specialized products are sourced through Orkla's international supply chain.
