The Denon CEOL N10 (RCD-N10) is a compact, all-in-one Hi-Fi network music system that integrates a CD player, radio tuner, and advanced streaming capabilities through HEOS Built-in technology. Established in 1910 by Frederick Whitney Horn as Nippon Denki Onkyo Kabushikigaisha, Denon is a legendary Japanese brand with a long history of audio innovation, including the development of Japan's first professional disc recorder and the world's first commercial CDs.
While the brand maintains its engineering and design roots in Japan, high-volume consumer electronics like the CEOL series are typically manufactured in Vietnam. Over the decades, Denon has undergone several ownership changes. In 2002, it merged with Marantz to form D&M Holdings, which was later acquired by Sound United LLC in 2017. In a significant industry shift in late 2024 and 2025, Harman International—a subsidiary of the South Korean giant Samsung Electronics—acquired the consumer audio division from Masimo (which had previously purchased Sound United). As of 2026, Denon is part of the Harman portfolio under the ultimate ownership of Samsung Electronics.
