La Vosgienne is an iconic French brand of boiled sweets, founded in 1927 by a pharmacist in the Vosges region of France. Originally famous for its pine sap drops (Suc des Vosges), the brand expanded its range to include various fruit flavors as seen in this tin.
While the brand maintains a strong French identity and heritage, the manufacturing operations were moved outside of France several years ago. Most of the production currently takes place in Spain. Ownership has changed hands through several major food conglomerates over the decades, including General Mills and Mondelez, before being acquired by the French company Eurazeo and subsequently becoming part of the Carambar & Co group under the ownership of CPK.
