Mousline is a renowned brand of instant mashed potatoes that originated in France in 1963. It was created by Maggi, which was later integrated into the Nestle portfolio. The product is famous for its 'à la minute' preparation, using high-quality potatoes dried into flakes. For many decades, Mousline was a staple brand for Nestle, produced primarily in the heart of France's potato-growing region, Picardy.

In early 2023, Nestle completed the sale of the Mousline brand to FNB Private Equity, a French investment firm specializing in the agri-food sector. This transition marked a move towards independent operation for the brand, though production remains focused at the historic Rosières-en-Santerre plant in France. The brand continues to be a market leader in France and the Benelux region, maintaining its traditional recipe but now operating under new corporate ownership dedicated to revitalizing the French industrial food sector.
