Kaba is a historic German brand, most famous for its chocolate milk powder which has been a staple in German households since its introduction in 1918. Originally developed by the Bremen-based company Ludwig Roselius (Kaffee HAG), the brand has evolved over a century from a breakfast beverage accompaniment to a broader confectionery range including chocolate bars and wafer snacks. In recent years, Kaba expanded its portfolio to include these hazelnut cream wafer bars, maintaining its recognizable mascot and yellow color scheme.

Ownership of Kaba has changed hands several times over the years. It was long part of the Kraft Foods (later Mondelez) portfolio before being acquired by the French investment group Eurazeo. Today, Kaba is managed under Carambar & Co, which oversees a variety of traditional European confectionery brands. While the brand carries strong German heritage and is primarily sold in the DACH region, manufacturing for its varied product lines now takes place across multiple specialized facilities in Europe.
