A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH is a premium river cruise line established in 2001. Originally founded as a joint venture under Seetours, the brand was later sold to private equity investors and management. It specializes in luxury river travel throughout Europe, primarily operating on the Danube, Rhine, Rhône, Seine, and Douro rivers.

While the cruises traverse multiple European countries, the brand is centered in Rostock, Germany, where its operational and strategic management takes place. The fleet is largely built and maintained in European shipyards, maintaining a high standard of German maritime engineering and hospitality. Since 2018, the company has been under the ownership of Duke Street LLP, a British private equity firm, which has supported the brand’s expansion and commitment to sustainable cruising technologies like hybrid-powered vessels.
